  I agree with you here, Sim. Even if the spiral originated as a missile test (and I’m only taking that explanation with a grain of salt, since disinformation and misinformation is so commonly used to control public opinion in matters of the “paranormal”) there are other things to consider, like ET intervention. Definitely yes. And of course if that were the case, what an apropos coincidence that Obama arrived at Oslo shortly after the event to accept the Nobel Peace Prize even as he’s ramping up the war effort. Mixed messages, anyone?

  As for other theories circulating about what the spiral signified, I can’t dismiss the Hopi prophecy of the Blue Star Kachina (commonly interpreted as Sirius) and the arrival of the “Fifth World.” What language would the Hopi use in an era before missiles and rockets were even the stuff of dreams? Just because this event may have a relatively-mundane explanation – if only in part – it’s entirely possible the “Blue Star” was foreseen, and may be the manifestation of the Hopi’s vision so long ago.

  Lots of possibilities with this one, and few answers…

  Right Stace. And this happened the day before the President accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo.
  The irony is perfect. I remember listening to David Kingston, recently passed away, at a conference telling the audience how he had been sent by the British Royal Air Force to investigate mysterious UFO sightings at their missile bases around the world. The craft would buzz the bases, but his team could never figure out why they were there. Perhaps to figure out how to Jerry rig the missiles!!
