Everything I read about the Norway Spiral Light points to it having a terrestrial explanation–the most likely being a failed Russian missile test from a submarine. However, given that the Russians have a had a long string of missile test failures, it can’t be ruled out that these events are the product of intentional ET sabotage. Several of the Disclosure witnesses, like First Lieutenant Robert Jacobs, mentioned seeing direct evidence of UFO damage to U.S. missile tests. Another First Lieutenant, Robert Salas, recalled the near-simultaneous sabotage of many nuclear warheads, related to a UFO sighting in the 1960′s at Malstrom Air Force Base in Montana and again in 1975. Similar incidents seem to have occurred at Air Force bases in both South and North Dakota, and other locations including Germany and the U.S.S.R..
So you can see where I’m going with this. UFOs have a history of destroying nuclear missiles and this might have another example of that phenomenon, especially the day before an important presidential visit. The channel Bashar, giving a workshop in New York City in November, 2009, mentioned such occurrences as instances of ET’s unwillingness to allow nuclear weapons to be detonated on Earth in any large numbers as the detonations affect the structure of space-time all around the universe. Similarly, the author and alleged contactee Philip Krapf also discussed such an attitude on the part of his ET hosts in The Contact Has Begun.

I agree with you here, Sim. Even if the spiral originated as a missile test (and I’m only taking that explanation with a grain of salt, since disinformation and misinformation is so commonly used to control public opinion in matters of the “paranormal”) there are other things to consider, like ET intervention. Definitely yes. And of course if that were the case, what an apropos coincidence that Obama arrived at Oslo shortly after the event to accept the Nobel Peace Prize even as he’s ramping up the war effort. Mixed messages, anyone?
As for other theories circulating about what the spiral signified, I can’t dismiss the Hopi prophecy of the Blue Star Kachina (commonly interpreted as Sirius) and the arrival of the “Fifth World.” What language would the Hopi use in an era before missiles and rockets were even the stuff of dreams? Just because this event may have a relatively-mundane explanation – if only in part – it’s entirely possible the “Blue Star” was foreseen, and may be the manifestation of the Hopi’s vision so long ago.
Lots of possibilities with this one, and few answers…

The irony is perfect. I remember listening to David Kingston, recently passed away, at a conference telling the audience how he had been sent by the British Royal Air Force to investigate mysterious UFO sightings at their missile bases around the world. The craft would buzz the bases, but his team could never figure out why they were there. Perhaps to figure out how to Jerry rig the missiles!!
