This article, another by the Washington Post in response to the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, is more of the same superficial, nonsense they have recently published on the subject. They basically blow the topic off as a psychological disorder. Hey guys, did you forget to mention the mountains of radar and physical trace evidence that are also associated with these type of sightings? Do you think the military put people with schizophrenia and other mental disorders in charge of aircraft carriers, fighter planes, and nuclear missile launch facilities? What are these military personal seeing out there? Take a look at the evidence for a change (if you are capable of it). It’s not fear that drives belief in aliens: it’s fear that creates denialist arguments like those in this article.

Super Brain: Unleashing the Explosive Power of Your Mind to Maximize Health, Happiness, and Spiritual Well-Being is a valuable and resourceful book that contains a lot of new information from neuroscience about how the brain constantly rewires itself and how you can help it do this in a directed, conscious, and positive way. I find Super Brain especially helpful for learning to become aware of my thoughts and reducing unnecessary stress. The authors, Deepak Chopra and Rudy Tanzi, also debunk a lot of myths about aging and show you how to slow down and even reverse the aging process, particularly Alzheimer’s Disease. The book is supported by the latest scientific research — for example, see my previous post here about new findings that show the genetic benefits of daily meditation. Highly recommended.

This is quite amazing information. It’s an article in New Scientist magazine detailing brand new research by Herbert Benson at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston showing the beneficial epigenetic effects of daily meditation on cellular respiration, insulin production, and cellular aging.
