Bigfoot’s EM Effects: Silence, Cold, and Dark Matter

I’ve been puzzled and curious for a long time about Bigfoot’s ability to cause electromagnetic changes in its environment. Witnesses often report that the sounds of their environment become muffled or wholly extinguished. They’ll say the forest became unusually silent. There were no sounds of insects, birds, or wind. Just nothing. Secondly, they note that the area suddenly becomes inexplicably cold. Even in summer, their location becomes cold. A sudden fog might appear. Finally, they note that the creature they observe is very dark, “blacker than black” (1), and seems to be darker than the background as the creature’s fur appears to absorb light.

In short, witnesses to Bigfoot and other cryptids often report:
1. Sudden silence
2. Inexplicable cold, sometimes includes the rapid appearance of fog
3. The creature looked like a dark, black blob, darker than the trees.

When I wrote Dark Matter Monsters (2022), these observations and other strange EM effects led me to believe that Bigfoot and cryptids use a different state of matter than we ordinarily perceive. This could be dark matter, relic neutrinos from space, or other types of coherent matter. The evidence for this comes from experimental research in different kinds of cohesive matter, including lasers, sound, LENR, and well-known effects like the Bose-Einstein Condensate. (For example, researcher Jean-Paul Biberian mentioned in one presentation that turning on cold fusion/LENR reactors makes his lab colder(9)).

(The documentary film A Flash of Beauty: Paranormal Bigfoot contains many witnesses to some of these strange effects (8)).

Having recently read Gerald Pollack‘s excellent book The Fourth State of Water: Beyond Solid Liquid and Vapor (2013), it seems to me that the cause of the strange EM effects around Bigfoots are possibly caused by their ability to create structured water: a self-organized charge-driven state of water that makes its molecules stack into sheets potentially millions of layers thick. Pollack shows that structured water has several EM properties, including storing electric charges like a battery and absorbing infrared energy from the environment. This capacity to absorb “incident radiant energy” is highly reminiscent of Nikola Tesla’s research and suggests that coherent states of water have energetic qualities not seen in its other states. This includes structured water, which Pollack calls “EZ water,” or Exclusion Zone water, which can harvest energy from sound and any heat source. As examples, Pollack gives examples of deep sea creatures that survive at the dark bottoms of Earth’s oceans by absorbing infrared energy.

(Belousov-Zhabotinsky Reaction: An example of far from equilibrium, spontaneous, chemical order from chaos. Source: Wikipedia)

I remember Pollack speaking at the 2015 Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE) meeting in Washington, DC, where he introduced his research into structured water, which he said had come to be called “EZ water” or Exclusionary Zone water. Reading his book recently, I was not surprised to learn that a prominent researcher in the controversial subject matter, Gilbert Ling, was invited to speak at Pollack’s University of Washington. A colleague warned Pollack that inviting the controversial Ling to speak could damage Pollack’s career. While I’m not surprised by such academic conservatism, these ideas are not new, and I came across such problems from the work of Ilya Prigogine on self-organizing systems in graduate school in the 1980s (See his book Order Out Chaos coauthored with I. Stengers (1984)). An example of such self-organization is the Belousov-Zhabotinsky Reaction, which creates orderly moving patterns by mixing two chemicals. Such notions are intrinsically linked to subjects like chaos theory and fractal geometry. The main point is that biological and chemical systems can naturally self-organize, not just move toward entropy and disorder.

In his book, Pollack tackles many of the paradoxes of classical physics, such as the source of Brownian motion, which has conventionally been thought of as simply a heat effect. Pollack suggests that an electromagnetic interpretation of Brownian motion is needed. He also integrates the intriguing research of Russian scientist Simon Schnoll, who found that many seemingly random chemical and biological processes are correlated with diurnal and seasonal Earthly cycles, suggesting that energy from the cosmos affects terrestrial phenomena.

(Ken Shoulder’s EVO spirals as the charge clusters dissociate.)

The ability of a structured phase of water to create charge separation is reminiscent of Ken Shoulders‘ work in EVOs (Exotic Vacuum Objects), also known as Condensed Plasmoids (L. Jaitner), Ectons, and Micro Ball Lightning, the experiments of John Hutchison in fractured metal samples, Dr. Alexander Parkhomov’s research in the effects of relic neutrinos and fractal dynamics, and the focus of the Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project and Bob Greenyer’s analysis of the cold fusion and nuclear research of Dr. Takaaki Matsumoto (2)(3)(4)(5). The work of these individuals all suggests the importance of various types of coherent matter to biology and living systems. See this link for the history of cold fusion/LENR.

Pollack’s primary purpose is to explain some of the stranger effects of water, such as expanding in its solid form. This explains why jello can hold so much water, why clouds clump together, why ice is slippery, and how water can spontaneously reorganize itself at the molecular level into tube-like structures. However, he also shows that just as plants can use photosynthesis to generate energy from sunlight, animals should be able to use structured water to create charge separation from incident radiant energy in their environments.

(Structured, coherent layers of water. Image: Bioengineering Lab, University of Washington.)

Coherent types of systems, where particles move to the same frequency and temperature and adopt a wave-like nature, tend to create other types of coherent dynamics, something we can call cascading coherency. For example, lasers are known to develop cohesive sound, which militaries have used to invent sonic weapons that can be projected at long distances. So, the coherency of light in a laser can facilitate the coherency of sound. This is known as “negentropy” and is also seen in tornadoes and vortex-type structures, which create long-range energetic order and other electromagnetic and gravitic effects. The classical analogy would be murmurations of birds, which can seem like one giant moving yet fluid shape in the sky.

Similarly, Lockheed Martin’s Coherent Matter Wavebeam Generation patent lists many examples of coherent matter’s uses for long-distance communication, projection, cloaking, and invisibility (6). The authors point out that using the Aharonov-Bohm effect, they can create coherent matter wave beams with any particle at any temperature, not just bosons at ultra-cold temperatures, as seen in the Bose-Einstein Condensate.

(Giant Tube Worms may survive by absorbing incident radiant energy in total darkness at the bottom of the seafloor. Conventional beliefs assert they get their energy solely from chemicals spewing from hydrothermal vents.)

Therefore, lifeforms like Bigfoot and cryptids may already use these principles, just as sea creatures use ambient radiant energy. This would explain the three electromagnetic effects listed above: Bigfoot absorbs radiant energy to support coherent matter structures like EZ water. This is why they would look “darker than dark,” create total silence in their vicinity, and even suck heat out of the local area to produce cold temperatures. Coherent matter maintains its coherency by pulling energy from the environment.

Even stranger effects are noted by witnesses, including space-time distortions, strange humming sounds, the creature’s glowing eyes, and a general feeling of mental confusion around these creatures. The simplest way to explain these systems is by generating coherent matter waves via structured water in their bodies, which gives them additional biological abilities. They may do this through sound, vibration, or even natural cavitation. Witnesses have heard the creatures shrieking and howling for hours. The sound has been compared to a freight train’s loudness or even a Tyrannosaurus Rex’s volume. Furthermore, the sound is directional and focused in intensity. People, even a few hundred feet away, may not hear it. Other complex sounds are heard in the vicinity, such as bells, gongs, and tuning forks (7).

In his Permittivity Transitions paper, Ken Shoulder argues that charge clusters, EVOS, and micro ball lightning lower the permittivity (electrical constant) of free space around them, effectively decoupling them from ordinary baryonic matter. Since the speed of light (c) is based on permittivity and permeability (magnetic constant), structured water might be implicated in changing how light propagates.

Pollack is adamant that sound can contribute to water’s self-organizing abilities. This is consistent with what we know about the interaction between electromagnetic waves and sound through ion acoustic waves. This line of thought opens the way for self-organization to occur in plasmas, which is the focus of this recent paper about plasmoids in the atmosphere.

Conclusion: Structured, self-organized water can have novel properties that allow it to store electrical charge and recharge from infrared energy in the environment. Biological organisms can harness this radiant energy, even sounds, similar to how plants use photosynthesis. Such organisms might be capable of unusual electromagnetic properties, including absorbing electromagnetic energy, making charge clusters, and other types of coherent matter. Such charge clusters affect the permittivity of their environments. Therefore, lifeforms, even those we’re familiar with, might have exotic abilities from structured water that mainstream science has ignored.
